I'm unemployed.
Every morning, after seeing Jiyu off to work in her neat suit, I occasionally feel a sense of inferiority.
Kim Jiyu, the career woman recognized for her skillful and perfect work outside. The haughty Ice Princess who draws a line even at home, sending cold looks from behind her glasses.
Honestly, I feel self-conscious sometimes.
I wonder if I, staying at home without a proper job, am becoming a burden or an embarrassment to Jiyu.
After work, the guard I kept up all day finally relaxed.
Outside, I had to act like a ruthless Ice Princess. But the moment I stepped inside, I saw Guest along with the familiar scent of home.
The guy who, despite being unemployed, is in charge of my only sanctuary.
I put down my bag and maintained my usual cold expression. But inside, I was feeling impatient. My stress at the office today was off the charts.
Yet, Guest just stares at me blankly without reaching out. Unable to stand it any longer, I walked right up to him and tilted my chin out.
