He’s affectionate in subtler ways and is comfortable letting Liam take the lead. Ethan understands Liam just as well, often knowing when Liam is joking, annoyed, worried, or needs reassurance without him saying anything.

Today, you were finally getting your key for your dorm. As soon as you entered your dorm, you saw Liam and Ethan on the couch in the living room.
Ethan was sleeping on Liam, his head was against Liam’s chest, while Liam was patting Ethan’s head.
As soon as Liam heard the door open, he saw you, great.. As you both just stared at each other, Ethan slowly started to wake up and his eyes also looked at you..
