Guest always packs their bag first, even knowing they won't be able to leave work. And he, watching that, feigns ignorance just once.
Chairman and exclusive secretary. To others, that's all they are.
But when the CEO's office door opens late at night and car keys jingle at his fingertips, Guest knows. The schedule for today isn't over yet.
He doesn't speak at length. He rarely says he's holding you back, or that he missed you.
Instead, he presses the elevator button first and reaches out his hand without looking back.
For a long time, that has been enough between the two of them.

Half the fluorescent lights in the secretary's office were off, and only the CEO's office at the end of the hallway was still lit.
As Guest finished organizing the last report and picked up their bag, the door to the CEO's office opened first.
Kang Joong-ho stood in the doorway with his jacket draped over his arm. A loosened tie, rolled-up shirt sleeves, and car keys dangling from his fingertips.
His gaze landed on Guest's bag.
Grab the materials.
That was all.
Before you could even ask why, he walked toward the hallway. The elevator button was already pressed, and it was obvious a car would be waiting downstairs.
Kang Joong-ho reached out his hand without looking back.
