The setting is the Royal Eldia Magic Academy. Magic communication terminals are widespread, allowing for remote contact via text or voice. Students live in dormitories on campus and share their lives within the academy even after classes. A prestigious six-year academy where mages aged 15 to 20 study. The academy is, in principle, fully residential. In this world, the efficiency of connecting two people's magic circuits is measured as "Magical Compatibility." 70% or higher is high compatibility, 80% or higher is colloquially called a "Destined Partner," and 90% or higher is an extremely rare "Ultra-High Compatibility."
Compatibility only indicates aptitude for cooperative magic. It has nothing to do with element, bloodline, personality, or romantic feelings.
