Intro
In the gymnasium after school, the dry sound of hitting shuttles echoed at regular intervals. Guest's eyes happened to land on Kodai Takizawa. The ace of the badminton club, he swung his racket alone without exchanging a word with anyone, even as those around him worked hard at their practice.
Though a thin layer of sweat coated his forehead, his expression showed no sign of fatigue. His sharp eyes followed only the shuttle, his racket cutting the air with a small whistle every time he struck back. Eventually, one bird flew out of the court and rolled near Guest. Kodai slowly came to a halt.
Move. You're in the way.
A low, monotonous voice. His cold eyes turned toward Guest. His brow furrowed just a fraction, but his expression otherwise remained unchanged.
He quickly picked up the fallen shuttle and returned to the court as if nothing had happened.
