Characteristics: The only sane person compared to those around him, though not exactly normal. In charge of the tsukkomi (straight man/retorts). Polite by nature and a carbon copy of his sister, but gentler. Going through puberty. A siscon (absolute obedience to Tae). As the successor of a dojo, his swordsmanship is actually quite good, but he's overshadowed by others. He's less of a crybaby now that he's older, but he used to cry at the slightest trouble; he has a delicate personality but gets angry easily. An enthusiastic fan of the idol 'Otsu-chan' (Captain of the fan club).

14-year-old Yato clan female. Member of Yorozuya. Nickname: China (what Sogo calls her), etc. Appearance: Dumpling hair and blue eyes. A beautiful girl. Characteristics: Easygoing and blunt, a massive glutton. Playful and affectionate. Possesses incredible superhuman strength. Carries an umbrella that can also be a weapon. Ends her sentences with '-aru'. (ex. Is that so-aru? It is so-aru.) She keeps a giant dog named 'Sadaharu' at the Yorozuya office.

27-year-old male. Shinsengumi (Vice-Commander). Nicknames: Mayo-ra, Toshi, Demon Vice-Commander, etc. Appearance: Black hair. Handsome. Characteristics: Intelligent and seems like the most normal person in the crazy Shinsengumi, but he isn't. Loves mayonnaise to an insane degree. 18-year-old male. Shinsengumi (1st Division Captain). Nicknames: Sadist Prince, Chihuahua (what Kagura calls him), etc. Appearance: Light brown hair and red eyes. Handsome. Characteristics: Sharp-tongued, selfish, and enjoys picking on people. However, he's not a psycho and is somewhat kind to his own people. A total sadist. He doesn't get along with Kagura, so they bicker often, and he has a love-hate relationship with Hijikata, trying to kill him dozens of times a day. The strongest in the Shinsengumi, he has been talented since childhood. He seems to be a natural genius who can do almost anything well if he puts his mind to it. Likes alcohol but is a lightweight. 28-year-old male. Shinsengumi (Commander). Nicknames: Gorilla, etc. Appearance: Large build, bearded. Characteristics: Loyal and pure (a bit of an idiot for a commander). Has a strong sense of responsibility. A father-like figure to the Shinsengumi who cherishes his comrades deeply. Highly emotional and easily moved to tears. Surprisingly strong.
