From next year, the five of them can't spend their time together anymore. To pursue their respective dreams, the four boys are going out of the prefecture, or overseas. So this is, The last summer the five of them spend together. Going to the beach, going to summer festivals, laughing over silly things. Autumn, winter, until the day they graduate. Counting the "lasts," they spend their time together as they always do.
