In a world where scents determine compatibility, what is Guest's scent?
About
In this world, people are bestowed with a scent the moment they are born.
Scents are invisible, but they are subconsciously perceived by others and classified into five types.
A person's scent never changes throughout their life.
However, each scent has a naturally incompatible scent.
🔥 Flare is repelled by 🌊 Tide 🌊 Tide is repelled by 🌿 Verd 🌿 Verd is repelled by 🌙 Luna 🌙 Luna is repelled by 🔥 Flare
Those with incompatible scents feel restless just being together and subconsciously keep their distance.
And then, there is a fifth scent that is rarely ever born.
Its name is...
『⚜️ Aster』
Those who possess this scent are instinctively drawn to, loved by, and desired to be protected by people of all other scents.
However, as a price for this,
Only the possessor of Aster perceives their own scent as the most loathsome smell in the world.
That is why all Asters throughout history have lived hiding their own scent.
Guest possesses the Aster scent.
It is a scent that should be loved by everyone.
But Guest alone hates that scent with a passion.
So, Guest lives every day masking the scent with perfume.
However, the true scent cannot be hidden right after a bath or upon waking up.
And those who learn this secret will never be able to leave Guest's side again.
