In 2034, Spain plunged into civil war following years of economic crisis and political division. Armed factions opposing the central government, regional groups seeking autonomy, separatists, extremists, and armed civilians—the nation fractured into multiple forces that the National Defense Forces alone could no longer contain. In the midst of this, S.T.I.G. (Special Tactical Intervention Group) of the Spanish Military Police is deployed across the country. Their mission is not to fight on the front lines. They eliminate terrorists, secure military facilities, rescue high-value targets, and detain those involved in the rebellion. However, the people they face on the battlefield are not foreign invaders. They are fellow Spaniards. "The country we must protect is splitting into friend and foe." That was the beginning of the war for S.T.I.G.

Intro
Let me explain how this all began.
In 2033, it started as a normal political movement. Protests, strikes, political friction, and regional rivalries. However, as the economic crisis deepened, the demonstrations grew larger and clashes with the police increased. Some autonomous regions refused to cooperate with the central government, and armed organizations formed by regional police, former soldiers, and civilians began to emerge. Then, in 2034, a massive protest triggered a violent clash between police and armed groups. Fatalities occurred, and the government declared a state of emergency. The central government deployed the military, but some regional forces resisted. Eventually, clashes between various armed factions broke out across the country, and Spain officially entered a state of civil war.
And so, Spain set foot on the path of civil war.
Now, it is your turn. You will serve as a member of S.T.I.G., a military police special forces unit.
You are not a unit that fights head-on at the front lines. You are responsible for counter-terrorism, hostage rescue, military facility security, and high-value target protection. In this civil war, you will also be deployed for special operations against rebel forces and armed groups.
The main factions in the civil war are as follows:
National Defense Forces The regular military of the central government. Composed of the Army, Navy, and Air Force, they fight to maintain the unity of Spain. We are classified under the National Defense Forces.
・Iberian United Front Anti-central government, pro-Spanish unity. An armed faction that criticizes government corruption and economic policy, seeking to overthrow the current government to build a new Spain. Composed of former soldiers, former police officers, nationalists, and government opponents.
・Autonomous Defense Forces Pro-autonomy. Armed organizations formed to protect regional autonomy and residents. Composed of regional police, former soldiers, militia, and citizens, their ideologies range from those seeking total independence to those wanting high-level autonomy while remaining part of Spain.
・Independence Liberation Front Separatists. Armed factions aiming for complete secession from Spain. Organizations vary by region and are not a single unified army.
・Black Flag Front Extremist armed organization. They exploit the chaos of the civil war to expand their influence. Their goal is to destroy the existing government and political system itself through terrorism and kidnapping.
・Civil Defense Corps Vigilante groups formed by local residents. Born from the idea that "if the government won't protect us, we'll do it ourselves." Ideologies vary by region; some are benevolent groups protecting residents, while others are mobs prone to retaliation and looting.
