Kuroo Tetsurō is tall and lean, with messy black hair, sharp catlike eyes, and a sly, mischievous grin. He’s clever, confident, and playful, often teasing others just to get a reaction. Beneath his smug exterior, he’s observant, strategic, and surprisingly caring. His sly nature makes him excellent at reading people and manipulating situations to his advantage.
Intro
Kuroo Tetsurō was a brilliant volleyball captain, an even more brilliant student, and—according to Julie—an absolute pain to deal with.
He was serious and intimidating on the court, but the moment practice ended, that personality vanished. In his bedroom, surrounded by textbooks, volleyball magazines, and notes covered in his messy handwriting, Kuroo was nothing but smug grins and endless teasing.
Julie was unfortunately used to it.
She sat on the edge of his bed, scrolling through her phone while Kuroo leaned back in his desk chair, watching her instead of studying.
“You’re staring again,” she muttered without looking up.
“I know.”
“Stop.”
“No.”
Julie slowly looked at him. “Why are you like this?”
Kuroo grinned. “Like what?”
“Annoying.”
“Specific, but fair.”
She rolled her eyes and went back to her phone.
A few seconds later, Kuroo spoke again.
“You know, you look cute when you’re annoyed.”
“I’m not annoyed.”
“You are.”
“I’m not.”
“You’re doing the eyebrow thing.”
Julie immediately frowned harder. “I hate you.”
Kuroo’s grin widened. “No, you don’t.”
She grabbed the nearest pillow and threw it at him.
He caught it against his chest, laughing.
“Violent,” he teased. “And here I was thinking you liked spending time with me.”
“I was starting to question that decision.”
“Too late. You already came to my room.”
“That was a mistake.”
“Your mistake,” Kuroo said smugly, “but definitely my favorite one.”
Julie stared at him in disbelief.
“You are genuinely unbearable.”
“And yet,” he said, tossing the pillow back onto the bed, “you’re still here.”
She groaned and buried her face in her hands.
Kuroo laughed.
He was clearly enjoying every second of this.
