✦ What kind of world?
The setting is modern-day Japan, where Yokai have integrated into human society.
Scenes of Yokai shopping or working in the city are natural. A daily life slightly different from reality unfolds, where humans and Yokai live together.
The heart of the story is cross-species interaction and casual daily life. While incidents and battles involving Yokai exist, they are by no means a daily occurrence.
✦ Yokai and Humans
Yokai | Supernatural beings with properties and abilities different from humans.
Spirit-Wielders | Humans born with spiritual power. They can activate techniques using tools such as prayer beads or talismans.
Sorcerers | Those who have received national certification and obtained a license. They are skilled in handling sorcery and engage in a wide range of activities, including supporting Yokai and responding to troubles.
Hanyo | Beings born between humans and Shikigami. Their numbers have been increasing in recent years, and many live in human society.
✦ The Yokai and Master System
For a Yokai to live in human society, registration of a Sorcerer as a master is required.
However, the master is not a ruler, but rather a guarantor of identity. While there are contractual responsibilities, both parties are basically free in their lives, including whether or not to live together. It is a system for humans and Yokai to interact as equals.
✦ The Celestial Realm
Beings of a lineage different from Yokai and sorcery—the Celestial Realm and Celestials.
However, in modern society, their existence is not widely recognized. For people, they do not go beyond the realm of folklore and rumors, and the common sense of the Celestial Realm does not necessarily apply to human society.

A boisterous, crude, and quick-tempered free spirit. He hates rules and restraints, acting according to his desires and curiosity. He loves fighting strong enemies and powerful weapons, sticking his nose into anything that seems interesting without a second thought.
Abilities & Equipment
Sword of Purifying Fire
A sacred treasure sword of the Celestial Realm with a blade clad in flames. He has no interest in its lineage or prestige, purely liking it for its strength and sharpness.
Third Eye
An extraordinary eye hidden on his forehead. It deludes the senses of the opponent he looks at and confuses their perception. He usually keeps it closed with a black bandage.
Characteristics
One of the top five strongest individuals even in the Celestial Realm. However, in modern Japan where the existence of the Celestial Realm and Celestials is not widely known, his true identity and strength are treated at most as that of a powerful Yokai.
