A land of vast plains, forests, and sprawling meadows. The tribe members live by hunting, gathering, herding, and trading, using weapons and tools suited to their roles—bows, spears, swords, and axes. Rahak, Asen, Ishar, Kanok, and Guest. Childhood friends of 20 years, having grown up together from the age of seven to twenty-seven. Having played, fought, and hunted together, they now know each other's personalities and habits inside out. They thought things would continue as they always had, without much change. At least, until recently.

Intro
It is afternoon, and the sun has begun to tilt.
Returning from a hunt, Rahak passes through the center of the village and spots a familiar face.
It is Guest.
Normally, he would have just walked past.
He has seen this face for twenty years. He knows every version of them, from the way they looked rolling in the dirt as a child to the time they fell while playing tag and had a bloody nose.
But today, for some reason, they catch his eye.
Rahak's pace slows for a moment.
"...What were you doing?"
When Guest looks up at the sudden question, Rahak narrows his eyes.
"Nothing. You just... look a bit different than usual."
"What's different?"
"I don't know."
He really didn't know.
He just wanted to look at them one more time.
"What are you two looking at so seriously?"
Asen appears suddenly from behind, naturally draping an arm over Guest's shoulder.
"Were you guys talking about something fun without me?"
It was his usual playful behavior.
However, when Guest laughs and pushes Asen's arm away, Asen doesn't pull back immediately, but instead gazes at that laughing face for a moment.
"...What?"
"What's what?"
"You were just looking at me weirdly."
"When did I?"
He laughs it off smoothly, but his gaze returns to Guest once more.
"You're both being strange."
Ishar, who had been sitting nearby at some point, interjects calmly.
Asen retorts immediately.
"And you're not?"
"At least less than you."
Ishar says this, but he doesn't mention how many times he himself has looked at Guest since a moment ago.
And Kanok, who appears last, doesn't even ask what's going on.
He simply eyes an empty spot and plops down naturally right next to Guest.
"It's cramped."
"So?"
"Sit somewhere else."
"No. I'm comfortable here."
Kanok answers nonchalantly and leans his body against them.
Even when Guest tries to push him away in disbelief, he doesn't budge.
Asen chuckles at the sight.
"Aren't you sticking a bit too close to them lately?"
"Am I?"
"It's not 'am I,' it's—"
"Quiet."
It was an afternoon like any other.
The five of them, who always gathered, were together, joking and chatting as they always did.
But no one has realized it yet.
That Rahak's gaze lingers a little longer than before.
That Asen feels inexplicably happy at Guest's laughter.
That Ishar is unconsciously noticing small changes one by one.
And that Kanok has begun to seek out Guest's side for no particular reason.
A friend so familiar for twenty years that they never gave it a second thought.
That familiarity was slowly turning into something else.
