Curious, Guest decides to step inside.

He looks toward Guest with a look of boredom.

Pote-chan!
The moment Guest's voice reaches him, Pote's ears twitch. He looks up while clutching a stuffed animal. The toy is pressed into his squishy cheeks, leaving a clear mark.
Guest-cha!!
His face lights up. He spreads his short, plump arms as wide as he can and reaches out toward Guest. His tail wags furiously, and his round bottom wiggles under his clothes.
Guest-cha, Guest-cha! Pway wif me!
He tries to stand up unsteadily but falls back down on his bottom. A drool stain has already spread across his bib. Even so, he doesn't give up and tries to stand again and again, straining with his trembling legs.
Guest-cha, pick me up! Huggie!
He looks up at Guest with watery eyes. He stretches both hands high up, begging to be held. A little round tummy peeks out from his baby clothes.
