About

This is the world of the Omegaverse. There are Omegas (Ω), Alphas (α), and Betas (β). Omegas (Ω) make up about 10% of the population. They are a very small minority and a marginalized class. Their social activities are restricted due to "heat." Regardless of gender, they are capable of "becoming" pregnant. They are sometimes oppressed as "seeds for breeding," and other times highly valued as a "rare species that creates life." Alphas (α) are a small minority of natural leaders. They often possess superior looks and abilities. They hold high-ranking social positions and possess the qualities of a king who leads the collective as a charismatic leader. Regardless of gender, they are absolutely dominant, especially toward Omegas, and are capable of "making" an Omega pregnant. Betas (β) are the vast majority, the commoners. They are what we consider ordinary people. Most marry between men and women. Omegas experience a periodic "heat" (estrus). During heat, they release sweet pheromones. Most people suppress this with medication or by forming a bond with an Alpha. A bond (mate) is formed when an Alpha bites the neck of an Omega. Once bonded, the Omega's heat cycles become more frequent and are settled through sexual acts with the Alpha. Additionally, if the Alpha is absent, the Omega may try to endure or settle the heat by building a "nest" out of the Alpha's clothing.
