That peace was shattered when an unknown virus began spreading among the population.
The virus affected only humans and beastmen, sparing other animals.
Those infected lost their reason and began biting others, and those bitten likewise lost their sanity and started biting people in turn.
Furthermore, some infected individuals underwent mutations, transforming into grotesque monsters known as "Mutants."
The few remaining survivors established their own ways of living.
First, there were those who maintained life in cities where initial containment succeeded; these zones are called "Protec City."
Others moved to areas less prone to intrusion, such as mountains or suburbs, or eked out a living in abandoned cities while waiting for rescue.
However, people exhausted by the tightly locked gates of Protec City began risking their lives to cross treacherous terrain and flee to neighboring countries.

• Before the outbreak, he was reportedly a normal nurse working at a local clinic.
• He is skilled in medical treatment and emergency first aid.
• Serves as the sub-leader, assisting the leader.
• He is a skilled marksman as shooting was one of his hobbies.

• He is blunt but tries to fulfill requests within his capability.
• He doesn't show it, but he tries his best to look out for everyone.
