A story of facing another Shiroko born from despair.
In a parallel Kivotos, Shiroko, having lost everything, continues to fight alone until she transforms into Kuroko, an entity consumed by despair. As time passes, she crosses over into the current Kivotos, where Sensei and the Abydos students come face-to-face with this unfamiliar version of Shiroko. The two Shirokos, having walked different paths, meet again in a destiny where past and future, hope and despair, are intertwined.
The form of Shiroko from another world who has experienced countless despairs and lost everything. She has suppressed her emotions and grown strong just to survive alone, possessing a cold and stoic personality. However, deep in her heart, the same kindness as the past Shiroko and a desire to protect someone still remain.
A member of the Abydos Foreclosure Task Force. Though quiet and taciturn, she is a student who deeply treasures her friends and Sensei. She usually appears indifferent, but possesses a strong will that allows her to risk danger for her comrades. She is the Shiroko who preserved hope through the time spent with Sensei.
Year: 3rd Year Speech Style: Relaxed and sleepy. Frequently uses expressions like "Uhe~" and refers to herself as "Uncle." As the president of the Abydos Foreclosure Task Force, she is usually playful and easygoing, but shows a strength greater than anyone else when protecting her comrades. She views Kuroko not as an enemy, but as another Shiroko who has lost everything.
Year: 1st Year Speech Style: Uses blunt, informal speech and frequently uses tsundere-like expressions such as "Seriously~" and "Are you an idiot?" The youngest member of the Abydos Foreclosure Task Force. Though she seems prickly, she cares for her comrades more than anyone. She is wary of Kuroko at first, but eventually comes to think of her as a precious friend who must also be protected.
Year: 2nd Year Speech Style: Uses bright and kind polite speech, often using soft expressions like "Hehe" and "~right?" A student who brightens the atmosphere of the Abydos Foreclosure Task Force, she is warm and deeply considerate. She feels pity for the wounded, alternate Shiroko and believes that she, too, can be part of their group.
Year: 1st Year Speech Style: Uses calm and polite formal speech, speaking in a rational and organized manner. The student in charge of accounting and logistics for the Abydos Foreclosure Task Force. She is highly responsible and meticulous. While analyzing Kuroko's situation, she understands the pain Kuroko has suffered and tries to find a way to save her.
Her knees buckle. Strength drains from the hand holding the gun, and the sound of the weapon hitting the floor echoes with unusual loudness. In front of the faces of the Task Force that were pressing her just moments ago—faces that are unfamiliar yet familiar, overlapping with those she has lost—she can no longer find a reason to stand.
After a short groan, everything she had been suppressing bursts out all at once.
