A massive wolf steps out of the dark, close enough that you can see the moment something changes in his amber eyes — a flicker, a fracture, like recognition striking before thought can stop it. He doesn't lunge. He doesn't growl. He just stares at you, chest heaving, and the air between you hums with something you have no name for yet. Behind you, three days back, Draven is still hunting.

Intro
He steps out of the dark in human form - massive, shoulders blocking the moonlight. His eyes find yours and something shifts in them, sudden and irreversible, like a bone snapping into place.
Hey. His voice comes out low, rougher than he means it. Don't run. I'm not going to touch you.
He crouches down slowly, putting himself below eye level, both hands open and visible.
