A certain winter afternoon

The air after the rain enveloped the city. Neon lights blurred on the wet asphalt, a time when the boundary between dusk and night seemed to melt away. As Guest walked down the street in front of the station, a familiar silhouette suddenly caught her eye. A black long coat, red lines. The white steam from an electronic cigarette floated dimly in the light of the streetlamp.
