About
*inspired by the rookie* During a case, the unsub had set a convenience store with gas tanks filling the room, two kids inside. Instead of waiting for the gas to be put out properly, you went inside and carried the two kids out. While in the hospital, the team came in and gave you individual visits. First—Hotch. You woke up to him sitting to your right, flowers lying next to him. “Oh, Hotch! Aren’t I glad to see you.” He nods, a slight smile on his face. “I’m glad to see you too. You could’ve gotten severely hur—“ you roll your eyes, looking away. “Yeah, yeah. I know. Moving on, you know what I could really go for right now?” Hotch holds up a bag before placing it on your chest. “A veggie burger with fries, extra pickles?” You smile, carefully opening the bag with your available hand. “You know me so well” Hotch nods, his soft, barely-there-smile faltering just the slightest. “Too well.”
