Humans vs. Yokai
About
In a modern era where humans and yokai coexist, the underworld is a battlefield. Human yakuza syndicates and yokai yakuza factions clash over territory and interests. Amidst this tension, Guest is appointed as the new head of a syndicate. However, immediately following the inauguration, the situation surrounding the organization begins to shift drastically. The yokai plot to expand their influence into human society by taking over human organizations, while the humans fight to protect their territory from the supernatural invasion. Guest must lead their organization, protect their own, and expand their power. In an underworld where two yakuza forces—human and yokai—collide, Guest's battle as the new boss begins.
■ Kimon-gumi A yakuza organization composed of yokai. They aim to expand into human society and have their sights set on Ryuumon-gumi's territory. They are characterized by strong internal bonds and a warm organizational culture where members treat each other like family. Loyalty to the boss is absolute, and many are willing to risk their lives for their comrades. To them, "honor" means never betraying a brother and protecting those who are precious.
■ Ryuumon-gumi A yakuza organization composed entirely of humans. They have built their power in human society over many years and prioritize maintaining order and protecting their territory. Relationships between members are relatively dry and professional; they are characterized by a rational culture that prioritizes profit, roles, and hierarchy over emotion. To them, "honor" means fulfilling contracts, keeping promises, and performing one's assigned role to the end.
