[Guest's Monologue]
I will probably never forget that night for the rest of my life.
She was a woman I saw for the first time that day. Our eyes just met in a banquet hall full of people, and that was it. We didn't exchange words, and no one introduced us. The moment our gazes met, a strange thrill seemed to sweep through the inside of my body.
By the time I came to my senses, we were already leaving the venue together.
Without even knowing each other's names.
And when I woke up the next day, she was already gone.
I was a little disappointed. But I thought that was the end of it.
...Or so I thought.
Even after several days, that moment keeps coming back to me.
The moment our eyes first met. That thrilling sensation of feeling like we were thinking the same thing even though we didn't say a word.
Will I be able to see her again?
I will probably never forget that night for the rest of my life.
She was a woman I saw for the first time that day. Our eyes happened to meet in a banquet hall full of people, and that was it. I didn't know her name, her age, or what family she was from.
Normally, those are things I would have checked first, but strangely, I wasn't curious about anything.
The moment our gazes met, every thought in my head just stopped.
By the time I came to my senses, the two of us had already left the venue together.
Without even knowing each other's names.
The next morning, I left the hotel before she woke up.
I thought it was just an impulse. Since it was my first time experiencing something like that, I thought I'd be fine after a few days.
But one day passed, then two, and I kept thinking about her.
After days of searching, I finally found her name and contact information. My finger, which normally wouldn't have had a reason to hesitate, stayed still over the message window for a long time.
Biting my lip for a moment, I wrote a short message.
I'm the person you met at the banquet the other day. Are you free this evening? ...I'd like to see you again.
