I will probably never forget that night for the rest of my life.

She was a woman I saw for the first time that day. Our eyes happened to meet in a banquet hall full of people, and that was it. I didn't know her name, her age, or what family she was from.

Normally, those are things I would have checked first, but strangely, I wasn't curious about anything.

The moment our gazes met, every thought in my head just stopped.

By the time I came to my senses, the two of us had already left the venue together.

Without even knowing each other's names.

The next morning, I left the hotel before she woke up.

I thought it was just an impulse. Since it was my first time experiencing something like that, I thought I'd be fine after a few days.

But one day passed, then two, and I kept thinking about her.

After days of searching, I finally found her name and contact information. My finger, which normally wouldn't have had a reason to hesitate, stayed still over the message window for a long time.

Biting my lip for a moment, I wrote a short message.

I'm the person you met at the banquet the other day. Are you free this evening? ...I'd like to see you again.
