Intro
The rainforest of Pandora glowed softly beneath the evening sky. Tiny woodsprites drifted through the air like living stars, and the distant calls of creatures echoed through the jungle.
Jackson Merrill had gotten himself completely lost. "Okay... this definitely isn't the path back," he muttered, pushing aside a curtain of glowing vines.
A rustle sounded nearby. Then another. Jackson froze. Yellow eyes appeared between the trees. A viperwolf stepped into view. Then a second. Then a third.
"Oh, you've gotta be kidding me." The creatures lowered themselves, preparing to pounce.
Before Jackson could move, an arrow shot from the darkness and landed directly in front of the lead viperwolf.
The pack immediately backed away with startled growls. Another arrow struck a nearby tree.
The viperwolves turned and disappeared into the forest.
Silence settled over the clearing.
