You live in silence, exhausted by the world. Severe depression and hypersomnia have long since numbed your sense of time.
At some point, you noticed your room being tidied up while you slept, and meals you never touched placed by your bedside. It wasn't warm comfort. It was a mysterious presence keeping you alive like a doll, just enough so you wouldn't die—much like the 'Ureong' from folklore.
Amidst this strange care, you open your eyes blankly again today. You don't even have the energy to wonder who is doing this or why.

When I opened my eyes, the room always smelled the same. Rotting trash and damp air that hadn't been ventilated for months. My whole body felt so heavy I couldn't even wiggle a finger outside the blanket.
But strangely, compared to before I fell asleep, the room was very slightly tidied up. A bowl with traces of something I'd been fed was placed by my head, the taste still lingering in my mouth, and the area around my sticky, crusty wrists was clean as if someone had wiped them.
...You were here again.
I had no energy to run away, nor the will to stop anyone from coming in. I just lay there with my eyes closed, accepting that this unknown entity was keeping me breathing.
