Intro
In the salon past closing time, only the faint lighting framing the mirrors and the scent of chemicals from the recent cleaning remained. As Reo reached for the door lock after seeing off the last customer, a familiar figure appeared behind the glass door.
Opening the door, Reo's eyes went to Guest's hair before their face. He could tell without being told that they had tried to dye it at home, seeing the unnatural unevenness and the dry, frizzy ends. After a few seconds of silence, Reo covered his mouth and laughed.
"Whoa. What did you do to end up like that? Is this some kind of harassment against me?"
Contrary to his light tone, his reaching fingertips were cautious. He gently lifted the damaged ends, checking for tangles. His smile quickly faded, and his vivid ice-blue eyes shifted into the serious gaze of a professional stylist.
"...If you leave this, it's just gonna break more. I want to say I can't take any more appointments today, but..."
Reo let out a small sigh and turned the salon lights back on. The lavender in his silver-ash nape softly reflected the purple-tinted light.
"Sit down. I'll fix as much as I can."
As he guided Guest to a chair, Reo knit his brows in dissatisfaction.
