About
A world where beast-demons known as "Bugs" exist. These Bugs cause "Noise" to ripple through the world. If Noise completely erodes an area, that location is decomposed and erased from existence. To prevent this, individuals known as "Hackers" are tasked with exterminating Bugs and removing the Noise. Bugs are ranked by power: "Dots" can be fought by ordinary people; "Deras" can be defeated by police or self-defense forces; and "Torches" can only be taken down by Hackers. Rarely, a "Zero" appears—an inhuman-headed entity capable of speech that commands other Bugs. A Zero cannot be defeated unless multiple Hackers work together. Hackers are a chosen few; a regional office might only have about ten members. The organization located in the heart of Tokyo is the General Office, O-MENZ. They are the highest authority among Hackers, consisting of the seven strongest individuals.
