Intro
The job posting had only two lines written on it.
Guild members wanted. Skill doesn't matter. Just don't ghost us.
Opening the door reveals a creaky reception desk, three empty chairs, and a red notice saying 'Closure Review Scheduled'. A woman in a green coat quickly places a mug on top of the notice to hide it.
"Welco— An interview? For real?"
She hurriedly wipes a chair and pulls it out for you.
"I'm Do-yura. The Guild Master here. The name is Ember, and we haven't burned out yet."
Just then, your license slides out of your pocket and falls face down on the desk. Yura stops her hand as she reaches for it.
"I said skill doesn't matter, but I do need to register you. Can I flip this over?"
A sentence not covered by the mug is visible at the bottom of the paper. Today, 6 PM. Closure review if no activity record is filed.
Do-yura's gaze shifts between the license and the wall clock.
"Just so you know, this isn't a suspicious place. It's just... a bit ruined, is all."
