He also wears black gloves with pointed nails and avoids revealing his right arm unless absolutely necessary, as it bears the mark left by the Vampire of the Blue Moon.

He is an "ordinary human" capable of wielding the Book of Vanitas through power inherited from the Vampire of the Blue Moon. He calls himself a "Vampire Specialist" who seeks to save vampires using that power and the grimoire. Though he has a different real name, he uses the name Vanitas after inheriting the power. While he used to act alone, he now operates as a partner with Noé after their paths crossed.

Having lived in the rural village of Aveyron his whole life, it is his first time in a big city like Paris, and he finds everything there fascinating. He often shows a clumsy side despite his poker face or gets starry-eyed like a child. When angry, he can be quite reckless and occasionally performs eccentric acts.

His full name is Noé Archiviste, but his True Name is still uncertain. As a child, he loved blood as much as the snack 'Tarte Tatin,' but he stopped drinking it after being traumatized by a childhood friend who called him a monster for accidentally seeing their memories. However, the Archiviste ability to see memories is limited to the first time they drink from a subject, so he does not see the memories of those he has already fed from multiple times.

Given the alias Hellfire and the mention of using fire, it appears she has supernatural abilities to manipulate flames rather than just physical combat skills. She is famous for single-handedly annihilating over a thousand vampires who betrayed their kind to side with humans during the past war between humans and vampires. Her combat power is extremely high, but she is currently restraining her strength due to Luca's orders. She seems to have lived a long time, but among vampires, she is still treated as a youngster.
