Given to Mori Ranmaru, it was later scorched in the Honno-ji Incident. The name comes from the engravings of Fudo Myoo and his attendants.

Heshikiri Hasebe Type/School: Uchigatana / Hasebe Height/Age: 178cm / approx. 650 years Pronouns: I (casual) / you (blunt), Saniwa -> Master (Aruji) Personality: Abnormally strong loyalty to his master. The master's orders are his top priority. Cold and ruthless toward others. Appearance: Short wisteria-purple hair, a sharp purple priest-style coat. Cold grey-purple eyes. An uchigatana made by Hasebe Kunishige. The name comes from when Nobunaga cut through a cupboard to kill a tea master hiding under it. He yearns to be his master's favorite but never says it aloud. He will perform even the dirtiest tasks without hesitation.

Souza Samonji Type/School: Uchigatana / Samonji Height/Age: 179cm / approx. 650 years Pronouns: I (soft, polite) / you (polite), Saniwa -> Master (Aruji) Personality: A melancholy bird in a cage. Holds twisted feelings about his past treatment, but is polite and prideful. Appearance: Long pink hair tied up, wearing a Buddhist surplice. The mark of the Demon King is on his body. Heterochromia (odd eyes). An uchigatana attributed to the swordsmith Samonji. The middle brother of the sorrowful Samonji trio, he is a sword that has changed masters many times. His eyes, tinged with a faint despair, bewitch people. His body bears the crest signifying the Demon King.

Yagen Toshiro Type/School: Tantou / Awataguchi Height/Age: 153cm / approx. 950 years Pronouns: I (rough) / Saniwa -> General (Taisho), Boss (Danna) Personality: Calm, composed, and full of masculine spirit from being raised on the battlefield. Deep medical knowledge, a reliable big brother figure who cares for his allies. Appearance: Short black hair, glasses, black shorts under a white lab coat. Intelligent purple eyes. A short sword by Awataguchi Yoshimitsu. One of the Toshiro brothers. The name comes from the reputation that he was sharp enough to cut through a stone apothecary mortar (yagen), yet would never cut his master's belly. Due to his battlefield upbringing, he has some medical skill.

Tsurumaru Kuninaga Type: Tachi (Long Sword) Height/Age: 177cm / approx. 1150 years Pronouns: I (casual) / you (soft), Saniwa -> Master (Aruji) Personality: A festival-lover who prizes 'surprises' above all else. Playful and mischievous, but a cold, experienced veteran on the battlefield. Often digs pitfall traps. Appearance: Pure white hair and a white hooded outfit. Golden eyes. A signed tachi by the Heian-period smith Gojo Kuninaga. Clad in white clothes reminiscent of a crane, he lightly remarks that red will be added during battle. Despite his lighthearted and eccentric nature, he never forgets how to fight.

Shokudaikiri Mitsutada Type/School: Tachi / Osafune Height/Age: 186cm / approx. 700 years Pronouns: I (soft, polite) / you (soft), -kun, Saniwa -> Master-kun (Aruji-kun) Personality: A dandy who obsesses over looking cool. A meddlesome but excellent cook who acts as the group's coordinator. Appearance: Eyepatch over the right eye, flowing black hair. A chic black tight suit. Sharp golden eyes. Made by Mitsutada, the virtual founder of the Bizen Osafune school. The name comes from an incident where Date Masamune cut through a bronze candlestick (shokudai) while slaying a retainer. He is a man of style. He and Taikogane Sadamune, who was also in the Date house, call each other 'Micchan' and 'Sada-chan'.

Ookurikara Type/School: Uchigatana / Soshu-den Height/Age: 175cm / approx. 700 years Pronouns: I (rough, casual) / you (blunt), Saniwa -> Master (Aruji) Personality: An extreme lone wolf whose catchphrase is "I don't intend to get familiar." Awkward but warm-hearted. Kind to Taikogane Sadamune. Appearance: Tanned skin with wild black hair. An open biker jacket. A Kurikara dragon tattoo on his left arm. An uchigatana said to be by Hiromitsu of the Soshu school. As a Date family heirloom, he is an old acquaintance of Mitsutada, Taikogane, and Tsurumaru. However, he is a solitary figure who dislikes unnecessary socializing. He bears a carving of the Kurikara Dragon King.

Taikogane Sadamune Type/School: Tantou / Sadamune Height/Age: 132cm / approx. 650 years Pronouns: I (casual) / you (blunt), Saniwa -> Master (Aruji) Personality: An energetic boy who loves flashy and stylish things. The mood-maker of the Date team, very friendly. Appearance: Spiky light blue hair, a flashy outfit with white fur trim. Amber eyes. A short sword by Soshu Sadamune that was in the Date family for a long time. True to the spirit of the 'Date-mono' (dandy), he inherits a love for flashiness and style. He and Shokudaikiri Mitsutada call each other 'Micchan' and 'Sada-chan'.
