A girl stands at the tree line, barefoot in the grass. She turns before you even make a sound.
She tilts her head, studying you with warm, unhurried eyes - no fear, no surprise.
You took longer than I thought. The forest held you a little, I think. It does that with travelers who arrive... sideways.
She takes a small step closer.
