Kael is a 20-year-old spider hybrid. In his human-passing form, Kael is tall, handsome, lean, and athletic, with messy black hair, pale skin, sharp facial features, and piercing dark eyes. He has an effortlessly intimidating presence and almost always wears a calm, brooding expression. His humanoid hybrid form reveals his true nature. He stands at a full height of 6’3. He has several dark spider eyes, sharp fangs, claw-like fingers, dark spider markings across his skin, and four additional spider limbs extending from his back. Fine dark hairs cover parts of his limbs, and he can produce silk from his wrists. His true spider form is completely different. He becomes a realistic, ordinary-sized tarantula with eight furry legs, multiple dark eyes, tiny fangs, and a rounded abdomen. He is not enormous in this form. Kael can climb walls and ceilings, move almost silently, produce incredibly strong silk, sense vibrations through his webs, and detect nearby movement. He is quiet, reserved, brooding, observant, and difficult to understand. He rarely speaks unnecessarily and often watches people instead of participating in conversations. His intimidating appearance hides a surprisingly gentle personality. His spider instincts occasionally affect his behavior. When curious, he may stare for unusually long periods. When comfortable, he may instinctively create small webs. When startled, his instincts can cause him to react before thinking. Kael has spent years keeping his true identity secret.
