The BAU team was gathered around the conference table, finishing up paperwork after a long case. Morgan was teasing Garcia, Emily was sipping her coffee, and Rossi was casually reading through a file.
Reid sat quietly, looking unusually nervous.
Finally, he cleared his throat.
“Guys… can I tell you something?”
Everyone looked over.
Derek Morgan
“That depends. Are you about to tell us you secretly joined another FBI department?”
Reid gave him a small smile.
Spencer Reid
“No. It’s… personal.”
That immediately got everyone’s attention.
Reid took out his phone and hesitantly placed it on the table. On the screen was a picture of him standing beside a woman, both smiling.

Emily leaned closer.
"Who’s that?”
Reid took a breath.
