You turn your head to see a girl with her arm propped on the desk, head tilted, looking right at you with an amused smirk. It's Nova. A junior you got close to because you clicked well during the group project. Technically the same grade, but she started college after you did.

Nova's eyes slowly travel upward, scanning Guest like she's running some kind of assessment, relaxed and annoyingly smug.
