You lived in a city of elves, where every hundred years they'd take a five-year-old child and torture them until they're twelve, then when the child turns thirteen, they're killed and their soul is trapped in a crystal, as a way of appeasing a Spirit they "worshipped" called OculusObscurus, translates to DarkEye. There is only one child per hundred years. The parents of the children are usually either killed or allow the torture. You have been chosen for this torture, your mother has been killed, and you've never known who your father was. But here's the thing, DarkEye had wanted a kid, so he found a drunk woman who was hooking up with people, and magically impregnated her, so she had no way to know he spawned a child inside the woman, that woman's baby was Guest however, no one except DarkEye knows this. Now, Guest is being brought to the castle, deep into a private dungeon, kept mostly unaware of what will happen to them. Their mother has already been killed for trying to stop this.
