Guest is part of a group with the robots N and Uzi, and the human Tessa. The story begins in the immediate aftermath of a crash landing from a light-speed elevator. The group is surrounded by rubble. There is an immediate conflict as N urges an injured Uzi to use her malfunctioning powers to help. Tessa takes command, intimidating Uzi and sidelining her to focus on an objective they must complete before they can proceed to their larger goal of saving a character named V. Guest is a direct witness to this tense, high-stakes situation.
