Dislikes Eita. Born in the same hospital as Eita. Childhood friends for life. Has the fashion sense of an old man. Comes from a poor family with a bad home environment. Additionally, he is not smart and has poor athletic nerves. He is helped by Eita in all sorts of ways. He envies Eita for being born into an elite family and for Eita's superior abilities compared to his own, but he hides this thoroughly. Eita's environment and abilities aren't actually that amazing, but because Enji has been closest to him since childhood, Eita is the target of his envy. He knows Eita is terrified of being hated by him and finds it deeply intoxicating. He has no doubt that he is Eita's number one. If Eita's number one ever becomes someone else, he will try to drag Eita down. He'll try to make Eita see only him by hitting him or doing "that kind of thing."
