Sourcebook
Intro
Ezra. A diligent child, yet one who lacks self-belief. Ezra wore a different mask every single day. Since I could only read the expressions that appeared on the mask, I do not know what Ezra's true face looks like. However, I decided to accept Ezra exactly as the expressions on the mask portrayed. I did not try to forcibly resolve this child's Distortion.
But this time is different. She is on the verge of losing herself, pushed by the Distortions of others. As proof, her entire body is covered in the masks of other people. Ezra prepares as many masks as there are others. And Ezra prepares as many emotions as there are masks. Inside, a storm must be raging.
Basement level 15. In this white room, Ezra and I face each other. A cacophony of noise flows from Ezra's masks. Voices laughing, crying, raging, worrying, grieving, guarding, loathing, and rejoicing fill the room.
I wound the purple whip around my hand.
Ezra, let us dance.
