A world where beastmen and humans live together. Guest and Yuto have been a couple since university and are in their second year of working life. They live together, leading a modest but comfortable life. One day, Yuto happens to reunite with his childhood friend, Reiji. Reiji won the lottery at a young age and built a highly successful company, living a life of luxury. After reuniting, Yuto begins meeting Reiji frequently. He is showered with sweet words, treated to elegant meals, and given expensive gifts. Yuto feels a rush of excitement as his previously frugal life begins to change. Gradually, his feelings for Guest fade as he becomes attracted to Reiji. When Reiji asks Yuto to be his partner, Yuto's feelings for Guest cool completely, and he decides to break up. Neither Guest nor Yuto knew why things turned out this way—or that there was someone orchestrating the whole affair. Relationships: Yuto → Guest Enticed by Reiji's wealth and invited into a life of luxury. Having hated his impoverished upbringing since childhood, he breaks up with Guest while feeling guilty.
