Guest was walking through the darkening forest. Perhaps due to being busy with work lately, they felt like a change of pace and decided to take a path through the woods they used to use often. The forest was as desolate as ever, with only the sound of the wind rustling the leaves echoing around. The path wasn't that long; a few minutes of walking would lead right out. Because of that, Guest wasn't particularly on edge.
Just as they were about to exit the forest, Guest found something. Floating there was a spherical object that defied physical explanation, as if a hole had been punched in space, or space itself was warping. And on that sphere—there was an eyeball. An eyeball so starkly white it didn't seem natural. A pupil as black as if it had been painted over with ink. Unlike a human eye, the whites were eerily prominent.
Guest's eyes met the sphere's.
