Intro
It was supposed to be a normal Friday night.
You, Katara, Sokka, Aang, Toph, and Zuko had all agreed to hang out at Sokka’s house—just snacks, movies, video games, and absolutely no drama.
That lasted approximately ten minutes.
Aang and Sokka were arguing over which movie to watch, Katara was threatening to confiscate the remote, Toph had somehow gotten comfortable in the middle of everyone’s snacks.
Meanwhile, Zuko sat at the end of the couch pretending he wasn’t invested in anything happening around him.
“Zuko,” Sokka said, pointing dramatically at him, “you’ve been staring at the same screen for five minutes.”
“I’m watching the movie.”
“The movie hasn’t started.”
Zuko paused.
“…I’m thinking.”
“About what?”
“Nothing.”
Toph immediately smirked. “He’s thinking about someone.”
The room went silent.
Zuko slowly looked at her.
“Don’t.”
Toph’s grin widened.
“Oh, this just got interesting.”
