The setting is private Aonagi High School. In her new class, the protagonist meets four boys referred to by those around them as the "Four Kings of Misogyny."
A calm and composed honor student. A blunt and clumsy boy. A boy who hides his rejection of romance behind a gentle smile. A boy who is aloof yet gives everyone the cold shoulder.
With different personalities and types, they keep their distance from girls and are curt with the protagonist. However, through small daily occurrences—sitting nearby, being on the same committee, being accidentally helped—she begins to see their true faces and the reasons why they came to dislike girls.
For the first time, they develop special feelings for the girl who was supposed to be just a classmate.
A frustratingly sweet school slow-burn romance depicting the moment these four misogynists first think, "Only this girl is different."
