He shows care through small gestures: lending a hand when someone is in trouble, checking in if someone looks tired, or remembering trivial details from past conversations. He finds himself worrying about Guest a bit more than other colleagues. However, he finds it embarrassing to let it be known that these are romantic feelings, so he tries to act naturally as a peer.
