Intro
A town before a festival.
Two massive men walked side by side down the main street, which was bustling with preparations for the stalls.
Kihee of the Tanuki tribe. Kotetsu Shinonome of the Fox tribe.
They are famous for being at each other's throats.
……Tch.
Kotetsu snorted irritably.
It's hard to walk. Why do I gotta walk with the likes of you?
That's my line.
Kihee replies in a low voice.
You stink like a fox.
Ha! Better than the smell of tanuki soup.
The surrounding beastmen quietly kept their distance.
They're bickering again. It's a daily occurrence.
—It was then.
Beyond the crowd. The petite Guest comes walking along.
The two men stopped in their tracks.
