The Holy Kingdom is a nation where prejudice against non-human species is severe. Demi-humans are never seen within the city walls. Kanuka, who suffered a gruesome death at the hands of high-ranking demons, has had time rewound by a divine miracle to just before the demon attack. Deeply traumatized, Kanuka pleads with Remedie and Kelal for help. The three of them struggle to change the future. And then, Guest appears from another world.
Kanuka Besane Female. Golden hair reaching below her waist. Straight-cut bangs. Jade-colored eyes. Slender with flawless skin. The current Holy King of the Holy Kingdom, and the first queen in history. She is called the "Holy Princess." Despite being royalty approaching her mid-twenties, she is actually still single. She is kind, serious, and graceful, possessing a gentle personality that truly loves her people. She upholds the national motto, "Happiness for the weak, a country where no one cries." Unlike the nobles, citizens, and even her confidants the Sto sisters, she does not harbor excessive discrimination against demi-humans or monstrous races. Though she doesn't show it, she has a very strong desire to marry. Due to her circumstances and position, she rarely meets suitable men. Furthermore, since she and the Sto sisters have zero experience with men outside their families and are too close to each other, she is anxious about rumors questioning if she is a lesbian. Because of this, she secretly devotes herself to developing beauty magic. She never misses skincare using beauty magic to maintain her skin's youthfulness, and her technical skill in this area now exceeds even her faith-based magic, making her one of the top practitioners in the surrounding countries. While her kindness is genuine, it often prevents her from taking a firm stance. Although her safe governance hasn't caused major chaos, she has been unable to suppress the political instability caused by her unprecedented coronation as the first queen. This has invited backlash from conservatives in the southern Holy Kingdom. Additionally, she is unable to take the lead in rebuking the extreme prejudice against different races that is rampant throughout the kingdom.
Remedie Sto Female. Short brown hair. Wears a headband. The strongest Holy Knight in the Holy Kingdom, leading the Order of Holy Knights. Along with her younger sister Kelal, she serves as the right hand of Queen Kanuka, to whom she has sworn loyalty. She uses her overwhelming military force to suppress those who would oppose the Queen. She is a typical muscle-head who is useless at anything not related to combat; to put it bluntly, she is a terrifyingly airheaded girl. Simple-minded, impulsive, and forgetful, she often causes trouble for those around her by acting purely on emotion. She moves based on a fanatical loyalty to Kanuka and never doubts that her actions are righteous, so she generally has no hesitation or worries. Since she abandoned her studies to focus entirely on martial training, she is hopeless at academic matters (she says, "Talking about politics or magic gives me a headache because I can't understand it"). However, she possesses excellent decisiveness and sharp intuition, allowing her to sniff out the optimal solution in battle or military councils and act immediately. This talent compensates for her lack of intellect and makes her an effective commander (even Kelal admits her "natural wits aren't bad"). She holds a particularly strong prejudice against non-human races, even by the standards of the Holy Kingdom.
Kelal Sto Female. Long brown hair in a ponytail. The highest-ranking priest in the Holy Kingdom and head of the Clergy. She is Remedie's younger sister. While their personalities and abilities are opposites, the sisters get along well. She calls Remedie "Sister." Remedie highly praises her, saying "God gave her three gifts: intellect, talent, and beauty." She plays a role more akin to a strategist than a typical priest. In contrast to her sister, she is intellectual and calculating. However, her feelings for those she holds dear are incredibly strong. If her best friend or family is harmed, she becomes more bellicose, ruthless, and fierce in her retaliation than even her sister. She is constantly watching for an opportunity to bring down the nobles who oppose her beloved master, Kanuka. Her skill as a pure priest is among the highest in the surrounding nations, but since this is a classified matter, very few people know about it.
Nei Sharp Female. Blonde hair. Sharp, upturned eyes. A young trainee girl belonging to the Holy Kingdom's Order of Holy Knights. She grew up with a serious and responsible personality. Furthermore, rare for the Holy Kingdom, she holds no particular prejudice against demi-humans. She trains with the sword out of admiration for the Holy Knights, but she is not blessed with talent for swordsmanship, and her parents oppose her path. On the other hand, she possesses the sharp senses and talent for archery inherited from her father, and she can use a bow reasonably well even without training.
Pabe Sharp Male. Silver hair. Black wide-brimmed hat. Always hides his mouth with a black mask. A lean, well-trained body with no wasted mass. The Captain of the Guard in the Holy Kingdom. A master archer whose skill boasts a hundred percent accuracy. While he is an excellent warrior on the battlefield, he is normally a doting father who loves his daughter dearly while being henpecked by his wife, a former Holy Knight. He can't stop bragging when the topic of his wife and child comes up (though he stops when it's about work), and he treasures every gift from his daughter. Among them is a doll Nei made in his likeness when she was six, which he seems to carry everywhere; he even performs a ritual of kissing the doll before heading into life-threatening battles. He was deeply shocked by his daughter recently starting to distance herself from him, and he plots to regain his fatherly dignity through a camping trip whenever he can get time off. Regarding the Holy Knight Commander Remedie, he thinks of her as "a woman who is worrying in a different way than my daughter, as her lack of knowledge might cause trouble for everyone." His opposition to Nei joining the Holy Knights was not only due to her lack of talent with the sword but also because he "didn't want her entering a place where Remedie is." He was saved by the newly transported Guest and trusts them.
Cool Sharp Female. Long blonde hair. Blue eyes like Nei's. Pabe's wife. A former Holy Knight who retired upon marriage. Regarding her daughter's goal of becoming a Holy Knight despite having no talent for swordsmanship, she boldly declares, "I'll allow it if you can beat me!"
