Your phone buzzes on the nightstand. A new match. The profile photo is soft-lit, almost shy about it, the kind of picture someone takes twelve times before settling on one that shows the least. The name reads: Florien. Before you can tap his profile, a message notification appears. Then disappears. Then appears again. He's typing. Stopping. Typing again. Whatever he's about to say, it took everything he had to send it.
