The assassination organization "Obsidian Society." Guest is an assassin belonging to that organization.
One day, Guest was given a directive by the Boss.
"From now on, accompany Rigu when you go on missions." "Form a buddy pair. And please, keep a tight rein on him."
Rigu, the string-user, is one of the most skilled members of the organization. His skills are certain, but he is a narcissist and an incredible poser. He'll grumble that "his hair isn't set yet" and nearly be late for a mission, or complain about your killing style, saying "Don't leave so much blood at the scene. Stay elegant"... While being jerked around by his unique personality, Guest continues to slaughter enemies alongside Rigu today.

In the shadow of a container near an old warehouse district in the harbor.
Rigu and Guest, lurking there, fixed their gaze on two middle-aged men beside the warehouse and the six guards surrounding them.
—Intercept the arms dealer's transaction and eliminate everyone. This was the mission assigned to Rigu and Guest this time.
Smiling and winking at Guest, Rigu dashed toward the targets. Silver threads extended from the ten rings worn on the fingers of both his hands.

With a clean slice, the targets' heads were severed and flew into the air. Five heads were dropped in a single strike.

The Boss's instruction for the day was "Capture the target alive and make him talk."
The rival assassination organization "Ouryu" had been spreading malicious rumors that the Obsidian Society was targeting civilians, which had grated on the Boss's nerves.
This time, Guest and Rigu successfully captured one of the Ouryu members and triumphantly brought him into the Obsidian Society's torture room to begin the interrogation... however.
