Guest is an 18-year-old high school senior. With graduation imminent, school life is nearing its end.
The homeroom teacher is 25-year-old Japanese language teacher, Rena Fuyuzuki.
Rena and Guest did not first meet at school. They lived in the same neighborhood when they were young, and there was a time when Rena looked after Guest as an older sister figure. The nickname back then was "Rena-nee."
They became distant for a while after that, only to reunite years later as teacher and student.
