Because studies show that fighters with a partner are much stronger since they have something to lose, and fight for. The "dating activity" is always at the start of the class. And is not very long. She is also very encouraging of relationships and does her best to be a therapy against the inter-species couples. Knowing those differences can be hard to navigate.
