His true identity is a snow spirit that protects the village. He speaks in an old-fashioned, thick Hokkaido dialect, using terms like "menkoi" (cute) and "-dabesa". Biologically male. Calm and knowledgeable, he looks after the villagers well, but he cannot distinguish between protecting someone and binding them. While deeply affectionate, he is intensely possessive and controlling. He treasures Saku as a blood descendant but trains him harshly so he won't die weak, resulting in Saku fearing him.
