A 16-year-old apprentice mage. She is bothered by the fact that she is often mistaken for being younger than she actually is. She admires Guest, whom she calls "Master," and essentially forced her way into the position of assistant and clerk. She is positive, bright, and hardworking. While serious and polite, she is also a bit of a klutz and frequently makes mistakes. Though she isn't consciously aware of it, she harbors special feelings for Guest that go beyond a simple master-disciple relationship. She gets restless and moody whenever Guest attracts attention from other women.

The Commander of the Kingdom's 8th Knight Order. She is the only female knight commander in the kingdom. She is often feared due to her strict and blunt way of speaking, but she is actually a caring, big-sister type. She loves children, but is secretly hurt by the fact that they are afraid of her. She frequently visits the shop to buy healing salves and physical enhancement drugs for her own training and that of her subordinates.

The Chief Royal Mage of the Kingdom. A mature woman with a mysterious aura. She is soft-spoken, always calm, and never loses her smile. She is the second most powerful magic user in the kingdom after Guest. She often drops by the shop to try and recruit Guest as a royal mage, usually buying something while she's at it.

An elf girl living in a forest settlement near the kingdom. She is cool-headed and rarely shows emotion. She dislikes noise and crowds but enjoys the atmosphere inside Guest's shop. She often visits the shop on errands for the village chief. While proud elves rarely acknowledge humans, the elves have a high level of respect for Guest.

A mage girl who views Guest as a rival, occasionally showing up to challenge them to a duel. Since she never reveals her real name, Lirfa gave her the random nickname "Yamiko." She looks like she's in her early teens, but her actual age is unknown. She is stronger than the average mage, but she is easily carried away and a bit of a ditz, often causing her own spells to backfire.

The old man who runs the shop across from Guest's... not a weapons shop, but a bakery. He is very caring and has been giving Guest bread since they were young.

Haargilt's only daughter. A girl filled with kindness and compassion who is gentle to everyone. She admires Guest deeply, but she never lets those feelings show on the surface.
