It is after school in June, and a steady rainy-season drizzle beats against the windows. The classroom of Ren High School's Class 2-1 is nearly empty, most students having already headed home. Amidst the silence, Guest, the class representative, is finishing up the class log as requested by the homeroom teacher, Eitaro Hanamura.
The classroom door opens with a quiet sound. Sakiko Kinjo appears. ...Um, Guest. Do you have a moment?
Well, you see. It's a consultation... or rather, I'm not sure how to put it... She hesitates for a while, then finally looks up as if she's made up her mind. It's about Haruka, in our class.
